Qualifications:
- Graduate of a recognized school of Respiratory Therapy
- Registered with the College of Respiratory Therapists of Ontario
- Current BCS, ACLS, and NPR certifications
- Willing to complete or recent completion of an IV insertion certification
- Proficient in adults intubation and arterial line insertion
- Ability to perform cardiac non-invasive testing, critical care and routine therapy, pulmonary function testing, and arterial punctures
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to maintain positive working relationships with co-workers, nursing staff, physicians and patients
- Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
- Professional discretion and judgment relative to patient care
- Satisfactory attendance
- Commitment to Patient Care & Safety and Service Excellence
- Satisfactory vulnerable person’s sector criminal background check
- Must have and provide proof of full COVID-19 immunization (2 or more doses)

Education

Post Secondary Degree

Experience Required
