Job Description

PK Construction Inc is a rapidly growing contracting firm located in Tillsonburg, specializing in design/build, project management, and bid/build projects in the industrial, commercial, and institutional sectors. We are currently seeking a Construction Delivery and General Labourer to join our team.

 

Responsibilities

  • Load, deliver and unload equipment and materials to and from various project sites using company truck and trailer
  • Light maintenance on tools and light equipment, such as changing oil, minor repairs, cleaning
  • Monitor, and arrange tools and equipment to have repairs performed to keep all in good working order
  • Keep accurate inventory of tools and equipment
  • Maintain company pickup trucks (2-3) in a clean and net fashion, arrange for maintenance when required
  • Maintain the shop in a clean and orderly fashion
  • Assist on the various work site(s) performing general labourer duties when time allows
  • Report directly to the Manager of Field Operations

Requirements

  • Valid G Drivers License
  • Clean driving record (drivers abstract to be provided)
  • Physically Fit
  • Familiar with towing, backing up trailers
  • Able to maintain small engines, oil changes, filter changes, etc.
  • Personable and able to interact appropriately with other employees and suppliers
  • Punctual, reliable, accountable and strong organization skills
  • Strong work ethic
  • Able to work in a safe & responsible manor
  • Minimum (1) year on construction related experience is preferred
  • Construction related trailing or certifications are considered an asset for this position
