Job Description
VDK Group has a opening available for an experienced Service & Install Coordinator to join our successful and rapidly growing team. The position open is for a highly organized, punctual, and reliable individual who takes Quality Workmanship, Customer Satisfaction, and the ability to efficiently manage staff as a priority.
Responsibilities:
Lead successful Service and Install Scheduling Department operations by:
- Customer Interaction
- Tracking of service calls
- Scheduling installations for Windows, Doors, and Garage Doors with available resources, thinking ahead to how long each job will take, how many people will be required, etc.
- Efficiently planning routes for multiple crews on the road
- Ordering of parts required for service calls
- Correspondence with installation crews
- Correspondence with management on priority installations and service calls
- Establishing processes and standards to ensure customer satisfaction and efficient operations; controlling costs
- Handle escalated customer complaints
- Maintain highest possible standards of workmanship and safety
- Liaise and manage positive working relationships with manufacturer’s representatives
- Oversee administration of warranty claims in compliance with manufacturer’s policies and procedures
- Direct maintenance of all types of company-owned-and-operated vehicles and equipment
Education
Experience Required
- Minimum 2 years Window and Door Installation Experience
- Minimum of 1 year Customer-Service experience with a proven track record in both service and customer satisfaction
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team to achieve results
- Ability to work as part of a Quality-oriented and customer-focused team
- Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Detail oriented, highly organized, and able to multi-task effectively in a fast paced environment
- Possess sound construction background with a strong knowledge of window & doors, products and installations.
- Ability to handle and resolve customer issues or concerns promptly and professionally
- Valid Driver’s License
