As an Operations Support Manager, you will provide day-to-day management of various operational sup-departments as well as working with the rest of the management team to drive results with operational flow for both warehouse and Dot Transportation, Inc (DTI).

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Hires/ supervises various operational sub-departments.
  • Coordinates monthly work schedules.
  • Oversees personnel development, including evaluations and training plans.
  • Develops, analyzes, and reinforces appropriate sub-department policies.
  • Conducts monthly staff meetings and helps manage sub-committees.
  • Budgets for various operational sub-departments.
  • Maintains safe workplace actions/ conditions for self and co-workers.
  • Leads continuous improvement efforts while applying lean tools and thinking to identify and eliminate waste.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent Dot Foods’ experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong leadership, planning, and organizational skills.
  • Aptitude for budget development and business analysis.
  • Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office programs.

YOU MAY ALSO HAVE

  • Previous successful leadership experience.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret statistical data.
  • Ability to work with/incorporate changes quickly, efficiently, and accurately.
  • Product integrity investigation and support experience.
  • Willingness to pursue opportunities for ongoing education and acquire knowledge to increase skills.

ROLE SPECIFICS

  • Supervision – Oversees various operational sup-departments.
  • Travel – Approx. 3-5 times per year to company meetings and planning events. Must have ability to travel independently as needed, without restriction by all modes of transportation, including car, plane, or train.
