Job Description
We are seeking a high-energy employee with an excellent work ethic to cut, shred, and package cheese between the hours of 9:00 and 5:00 from Monday to Friday and 9:00 to 3:00 on some Saturdays when necessary due to volume of work. Overtime may be required, especially during the fall.
Previous experience would be an asset, but training will be provided. Enjoyment of physical labour is essential. That includes the ability to work at a rapid pace, stand for long periods, work in a cooler at times at a temperature of 4 degrees C, lift weights of up to 20kg, and operate various types of manual equipment, which requires upper arm and shoulder strength. The job may involve performing one task repeatedly, or various tasks depending on demand.
Basic English language and arithmetic skills, honesty & integrity, respect for sanitation & food safety standards, attention to detail, and willingness & ability to accurately follow instructions are also essential. A hairnet/beard net, lab coat, and gloves will be provided.
Employees must provide an extra pair of shoes with closed toes to be worn at the workplace only.

- Cutting & Packaging: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Food Handler Certification (preferred)
