Responsibilities You'll Take On:
- Process a high volume of invoices accurately and in a timely manner
- Verify the accuracy of invoices, purchase orders, and other supporting documentation
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies as needed
- Communicate with vendors to address inquiries and resolve payment issues
- Prepare and process electronic payments, including ACH transfers and wire transfers
- Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts payable
- Maintain organized and accurate electronic records of invoices, payments, and related documentation
- Assist with the implementation and maintenance of accounts payable procedures and controls
- Collaborate with internal departments to streamline processes and improve efficiency
- Cost analysis, review, and reporting
Minimum Qualifications We're Looking For:
- You have a high school diploma or equivalent; Associate or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- You have 2+ years of experience in accounts payable or related finance roles preferably in the manufacturing industry
- You are highly proficient in Microsoft Office tools and have experience with accounting software (e.g., Sage, Dynamics 365 Business Central)
- You have a strong attention to detail and strive for accuracy
- You pride yourself on organization and are proud of your time management skills
- You have a proven ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- You thrive in a digital environment and are passionate about leveraging technology to maximize efficiency and have a mindset of continuous process improvement.
- You possess strong communication and interpersonal skills
