We are seeking a full time Packaging Line/Sanitation Worker to join our team in Ingersoll, Ontario.

Job Responsibilities

  • Daily cleaning of all packaging lines, and the packaging hall as per SOP’s and MSS
  • Clean and sanitize industrial production equipment, washing out the machines between runs where deemed necessary.
  • Must work in compliance with established HACCP, Food safety and GMP protocols and report any concerns to your supervisor. ‘
  • Must be able to wheel and dump wheelbarrows as needed
  • Must be willing to receive extensive training including, but not limited to chemical training, micro training, lift truck training, and SSOP training.
  • Must work in compliance with established safe work practices and procedures and report all unsafe or unhealthy conditions to your supervisor.
  • This position requires one to work in close conjunction with the Supervisors and Quality Assurance staff in order to ensure efficiency, quality, and productivity.
  • Ability to inspect product for EVM and foreign material and other duties assigned to the L2 position.
  • Ability to dump and chop product, communicate with lift truck drivers, and other duties assigned to the L3 position.
  • Continuous communication with lift truck drivers as well as set-up operators during shifts.
  • Must perform other jobs and duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • Ability to work independently and as a team member
  • Must be organized, be able to multi-task and have the ability to prioritize.
  • Must have excellent attendance and be reliable.
  • Solid understanding of GMPs and HACCP.
  • Must be able to follow directions meticulously and thoroughly with minimal supervision.
  • Must be available to work weekends and shift work.
  • Must be able to operate or receive training to operate a lift truck.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
