Job Description
Role Summary
The Sales Lead is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the sales floor and guiding the team members within. They are entrusted with overseeing opening and closing procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership
• Coordinate departmental tasks based on priorities and company guidelines. • Provide guidance, support, and motivation to departmental team members. • Train and mentor team members on necessary procedures and techniques. • Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures among team members. • Collaborate with store management to organize in-store training sessions and share product knowledge. • Contribute insights for the performance management of the sales floor and ensure follow-up.
Inventory & Operations
• Implement and oversee department replenishment processes, addressing product shortages, surplus, and seasonal changes in coordination with store management. • Execute merchandising tasks as directed by store management, including displays, labeling, and signage. • Execute promotional activities as directed by store management to achieve department objectives. • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the department and oversee shift transitions. • Address any issues promptly to ensure customer satisfaction.

Follow all Peavey Industries safety policies, procedures, and protocols, report any accidents/incidents, near misses, injuries and concerns to your manager or a health and safety committee representative, and work in a safe manner that ensures the health and safety of themselves and all other on the work site (including but not limited to Peavey staff, vendors, customers, etc.), this includes working in a manner that is in alignment with and promotes psychological and social well-being.
