Job Description

Burgessville Grain & Feed Inc. is a growing business with an established clientele. We are a family owned and operated feed mill and provide Ontario swine, ruminant, and cattle producers with commodities, grains, and feed ingredients. 

We are currently hiring for a Customer Service Coordinator. The primary focus of this role is to help with the daily operations of the business as well as fulfilling customer satisfaction. This is a Full-Time position, roughly 35-40 hours/week! 

Responsibilities

  • Working in a fast paced, professional team environment with a day-day focus on assisting customers
  • Answering incoming calls/greeting customers in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Assisting customers with feed: ordering Assisting customers with product selection and purchasing; answering questions regarding product location, price, and use.
  • Responsible for processing truck crossing border paperwork. 
  • Assisting dispatchers in day-to-day issues and activities.
  • Communicating with various Vendor locations to coordinate customers’ orders.

 

Education

Post Secondary Degree

Experience Required

Required Skills/Abilities: 

  • Agricultural background and post-secondary school education preferred.
  • Customer service skills, analytical, and problem-solving attributes
  • Excellent verbal communication skills; friendly and outgoing personality
  • High level of organization, efficiency, and the ability to adapt and prioritize.
  • Ability to work in a team or independently, multi-task in a fast-paced environment, and ability to accept responsibility and accountability for job performance. 
  • Experience with truck management is an asset.
  • Proficiency in computer skills such as Microsoft Word, Excel 
  • QuickBooks experience is an asset.
