Total Swine Genetics is a well-established boar stud located in Tillsonburg, Ontario with a great team. We house boars (male pigs) for our genetic partners and collect semen that is sold to our customers across Southwestern Ontario. Our barn team cares for the boars and collects semen on our 3 production days each week-Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

We are looking for a permanent part-time employee to work 2 production days (Monday and Friday) each week.

Duties:

-Feeding boars

-Moving boars from their pens to the collecting area

-Moving boars from the collecting area back to their pens

-Collect from boars

-Running collections to the lab

-Pressure washing and maintaining barn cleanliness

Shift details:

Shifts begin at 5:15 am and end when production ends (12:00-3:00 PM)

Shifts would be every Monday and Friday

Experience Required

Requirements:

-Must have a positive attitude and be willing to learn

-Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment

-Must have a G license and reliable transportation to our location outside of Tillsonburg

-Must have a high school diploma
