Janitor– Full Time
Woodstock, Ontario
Salary: $43,400 to $50,300
Position Description: Reporting to the Environmental Services Supervisor, as a Janitorial team member, you will assist in proper cleaning and sanitation of buildings in Woodstock. Stewarding resources to ensure high standards of cleaning quality in each of our properties.

Hours of Work: Full Time- 40 hours per week, primarily weekdays.
What you will be doing:
- Ensuring designated building areas are clean and stocked with supplies by performing tasks such as dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, and restrooms
- Executing heavy cleaning tasks and special projects as assigned
- Notifying management of any observed deficiencies in the building or supplies
- Keeping supply rooms stocked and well-maintained, making the supervisor aware of any requirements
- Working cooperatively with other staff members
- Following all health and safety regulations

Education
Experience Required
What you will bring:
- Prior experience as a Janitor is preferred but not required
- Familiarity and comfort being around individuals with a mental health diagnosis and/or addiction is beneficial
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies, as well as familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets
- Positive work ethic, integrity and excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and cooperatively with other staff members
- Full “G” license is beneficial
- Ability to lift 40lbs
- Focus to follow proper safety procedures when handling cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Compliance to company policies and guidelines for cleanliness and sanitation
