Job Description
The Executive Director is responsible to lead the effective operations of Tillsonburg Little School, including, recruitment and retention of staff, overseeing the organization's financial management systems, mentoring and supporting the team to ensure quality programming, develop strong partnerships with families, community partners and the county of Oxford and the observance of all legislative and human resource requirements. The Executive Director is directly accountable to the Board of Directors and will observe all of the policies set by the Board of Directors, including strategic planning objectives.
Education
Experience Required
Five years' experience in a childcare setting with two years as a supervisor, experience in management, of two years, including budgets, scheduling, and HR
Member in good standing with the College of ECE, standard First Aid and Level "C" CPR
Strong Knowledge of the CCEYA, Vulnerable Sector Check, health clearance and up to date immunization.
Superior numerical reasoning ability (financial acumen)
Experience working with Board of Directors
