Job Description

 

- Prior experience in snow removal and grounds maintenance work.

- Mechanically inclined, with the ability to operate and perform routine equipment 

  maintenance.

              - Valid Class G driver’s license and use of a dependable vehicle.

              - Must be willing to learn to drive a lift truck and truck with a trailer.

              - Knowledge of municipal bylaws.

              - Strong working knowledge of health and safety practices.

              - Must be able to perform heavy physical labour.

              - Must be willing to take training and obtain certifications, as may be required.

              - Must be adaptable to work a flexible schedule.

- Overseeing/supporting and training individuals in industrial settings including using saws, lift trucks, tracking inventory, etc

              

Education

Post Secondary Degree

Experience Required

 

  • Experience and ability in using creative ways of providing support to people in a range of community involvement and life situations
  • Experience and ability to provide positive systems support to people with behavioral self-management plans
  • Experience and ability to plan and monitor behavioral interventions
  • Experience and ability to facilitate, develop and support person centered planning, on-going development and evaluation
  • Ability to flexible and accommodating with work hours
  • Excellent written, verbal and listening skills
  • Experience and accuracy with medication policy and dispensing medications
  • Experience advocating for proper medical interventions and social inclusion
  • Current First Aid and NVCI
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable car to use for work
  • Good attendance will be recognized
