Assistant Day Camp Counselors

Woodstock Legion Athletic Club is looking for 1 or 2 individuals who love working with children and who have some track & field experience.  You will be required to provide track & field instruction in the mornings, including preparing the drills, games and activities. In the afternoon you will lead games, crafts and other camp activities.  The amount of work for counsellors will depend on the number of registrations, but we anticipate positions for 2 full time Counsellors and 2 part time Counsellors to work on the days we would be going on trips in the afternoons, as well as weeks where there are large number of participants.  Assist with supervision of campers, guide and redirect children away from conflict, demonstrate energy, dedication and, ensure children are signed in/out of camp.  Must be at least 16 years of age, have standard First Aid and CPR and acceptable police check.  Time/hours are flexible to suit.                 

Must be willing to learn and enjoy working with children of all ages
