Job Description

Are you looking for a rewarding part-time position? Working with Langs is the perfect opportunity for you! 

We’re currently recruiting and training future school bus drivers for routes in the following locations and their surrounding communities: Oxford & Surrounding Communities. 

School bus drivers are an essential part of a students’ day. They’re there to greet, guide, and ensure the children in your community stay safe as they travel to and from school. 

THE HOURS

  • Monday to Friday, during the school year
  • Drivers complete an AM run and a PM run (with the period in between off)
  • Guaranteed minimum of 17.5 hours per week
    • Average hours per week vary between 17.5 and 20.5 hours.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

Our ideal candidate is a self-motivated, courteous individual with a clean driving record that’s free of accidents, moving violations, and demerit points.

WHAT IF I’VE NEVER DRIVEN A BUS BEFORE?

No experience driving a school bus? No problem! Langs offers FREE B class training and licencing to all new hires – all at no cost to you! All you need to have is your full G license for at least 2 consecutive years, in the last 3 years, and a great attitude!

Compensation and Benefits

Working as a school bus driver with Langs lets you:

  • Work part-time on school days (Monday to Friday), for a minimum of 3.5 hours per day.
  • Earn a part-time income while having weekends, evenings, holidays, and summers free to pursue other interests.
  • Find meaningful work in your own community.
  • Become a positive role model for local children.

 

Wage Details

$20.65 - $21.55 per hour
