Job Description
- Provide customer service to customers to meet their parts needs in alignment with the company’s parts protocols and processes.
- Receive parts requests from customers in person, by phone or email and respond with a quote or information in a timely manner
- Receive, provide, and issue purchase orders and receipts of goods
- Research availability and price of parts from suppliers
- Search part numbers using a computer or standard catalogue, and access brand parts diagrams and part diagrams to locate parts and part numbers.
- Maintain communication with Shipping/Receiving, suppliers and customers to ensure
- efficiency within the parts department
- Participate in required inventory cycle counts and provide back-up support to other parts
- department employees as required
- Assist the Sales and Service Departments with parts orders, to provide the best customer service to all parties
- Other duties as assigned by your manager
Education
Experience Required
- High School Diploma
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft office
- Utilize computer to research parts and technical information
- Maintains current knowledge of company competitive products
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and demonstrated ability to work well with individuals inside and outside of the organization.
- Maintains a clean work area and performs work in a neat and orderly fashion
- Follows all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments
- Completes all reports and forms required in conjunction with work assignments
- Accounts for all time and material used in performing assigned duties
- Ability to read and interpret documents pertaining to parts and equipment
- Detail oriented individual with a strong work ethic and positive team attitude
- Forklift Experience considered an asset
- Valid Driver’s license,
