Job Description
Vuteq Technical Center Americas is a Sales and Engineering service provider representing Vuteq and Diversity Vuteq manufacturing groups throughout North America. The Vuteq group of companies is actively engaged in automotive parts manufacturing and design and currently supplies Interior and Exterior components to General Motors, Toyota Motor Manufacturing and Honda Motor Manufacturing. The Junior Purchasing Administrator will be a key member of the team and will work directly with the Purchasing Coordinators to ensure all required documentation, forms, etc. are up to date and maintained. The administrator will also be responsible for supporting cost control activities.
Position Description
- Prepare graphs or charts of data or enter data into computer for analysis, as needed
- Document management: create and update VTCA purchasing documents
- Responsible to support the VTCA team and Purchasing Coordinator activities as required
- Support on the Request for quote (RFQ) activities: Create RFQs, send to suppliers for pricing, compare returned RFQs from different suppliers, provide feedback to suppliers
- Total cost analysis
- Supplier development: Includes researching new suppliers, participating in supplier meetings, cost reduction ideas, site-visits
- Support communication internally with other departments and externally with suppliers
- Must be able to understand the required specifications from the customers, review drawings (internal and external)

- Successful completion of OSSD or equivalent
Experience
- 6-12 months production experience
- Microsoft Office experience (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Skills and Abilities
- Good communication/interpersonal skills, maintain professional customer relations
- Must have great organizational skills
- Must be able to work independently with little supervision
- Must be able to demonstrate team commitment through work ventures and be a team player
- Maintain a high level of accuracy and detail orientation when producing data and reports
- Ability to organize priorities based on deadlines and importance of tasks

- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Must possess a good attendance record
