Job Description

White Coad LLP is a well-established law firm with offices located in Woodstock, Norwich, Delhi, Ayr and Stratford. Our firm practices primarily in the areas of Corporate Commercial law, Municipal and Land Planning, Residential & Commercial Real Estate, and Wills & Estate Planning.

 

We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper on a full-time basis for our Woodstock office.

 

The primary duties include but are not limited to:

  • Receiving and processing day to day cheque requisitions.
  • Completing bank deposits and wire transfers.
  • Processing accounts receivable and accounts payable.
  • Posting disbursements daily from various source reports.
  • Completing monthly account reconciliations.
  • Assisting with real estate transactions, including bank runs for deposit of closing funds and payouts as necessary.
  • Monitoring and dispersing incoming faxes and emails into office’s main account.

Education

Secondary School Diploma

Experience Required

Requirements:

  • Bookkeeping experience required. Prior law firm experience an asset.
  • Knowledge of Law Society of Ontario requirements for Trust accounting and reporting.
  • Detail Oriented.
  • Ability to multitask and work under tight deadlines while prioritizing as necessary.
