This is an in-home residential service plumbing position.

Responsibilities/Skills

  • Good people with good communication skills. The ability to speak and interact professionally with our customers.
  • Create a positive customer experience by completing the call correctly the first time with quality and care to applicable codes.
  • Diagnosing problems with all plumbing and/or draining issues.
  • Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems and fixtures.
  • Adjust, repair, replace sewage and sump pumps.
  • Weld and solder pipes and fittings together
  • Use of hand tools and power tools.
  • Cut, thread, assemble and install pipes; connect valves; caulk joints; and test finished job by allowing water to flow through correctly.
  • Complete all required documentation on services and collect, record and deliver fees to designated office administration.
  • Facilitate order for all parts required for appointments and ensure preparedness for the day of service.
  • Transport materials and tools to the job site and provide proper accounting of assigned tools.
  • when issues are identified, prepare a detailed finding report with pictures to discuss with the client, ability to present options and cost to client.
  • Ability to communicate club memberships.
  • Ability to utilize true transparency pricing to provide clients an up-front cost of the work performed.
  • Keep truck clean, stocked and accurately inventoried.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure appropriate job objectives are met effectively and completely.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints and drawings to complete plumbing tasks.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and maneuver in tight spaces.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Licence/Certification:

  • plumbing license (306a) (preferred)

Ability to Commute:

  • Woodstock, ON N4S 2R1 (required)

Schedule:

· Monday – Friday

· Overtime, weekends as required.
