Volunteer Job Description
Habitat for Humanity Heartland Ontario is always looking for volunteers to help us at the ReStore! The ReStore is a retail store that sells new and gently used donated home furnishings and renovation materials to the general public. ReStore proceeds support Habitat’s mission of helping hard working, families build a brighter future through affordable homeownership. The ReStore also plays an important role in environmental stewardship by actively re-cycling, re-purposing and diverting tons of materials from landfills annually. We offer very flexible hours - volunteer as much or as little as your schedule allows (although we ask you aim for a minimum of 8 hours a month). Our Woodstock ReStore is located at 1058 Parkinson Road.
There are several volunteer roles available at the ReStore to help out staff: NO retail experience needed!
