Volunteer Job Description

Volunteers are needed to be marshals along our race route, holding signs to direct runners and cheer them on.

 

We are also looking for two bikers to lead our runners along the 5K route and 2K route. Bike volunteers need to have access to a bike that can ride on gravel paths and be able to transport it to/from Discovery Farm Woodstock. They also need to be able to ride 5K in under 20 minutes and/or 2K in ~10 minutes.

 

The Dairy Capital Run is a fundraiser for the Woodstock Hospital Foundation. It is a family friendly walk/run that has a 5K, 2K, and Lil' Hoofer run for the little ones aged 2-6. It is being held at Discovery Farm Woodstock located at 744906 Oxford Road 17.

 

The run is being held on Saturday, May 25 and volunteers are needed from 7:30am-10:00am, depending on their role.
