Volunteer Job Description
The Oxford County Sub-Chapter will successfully implement a year-end fundraising event to support the Children’s Health Foundation. Participants will also be responsible for executing their own personal fundraising event in Oxford County to increase the Children’s Health Foundation Independent Fundraising Event budget and increase our presence in Oxford County. The Oxford County Sub-Chapter will generate $7,000 in revenue over the term for Children’s Health Foundation.
Roles and Responsibilities of an Oxford County Sub-Chapter Member:
- Dedicate approximately 4-6 hours monthly to the committee through digital/in-person meetings, independent work/fundraising, training, and event attendance.
- Attend monthly meetings and actively participate and bring your ideas forward.
- Work effectively and collaboratively with fellow Oxford County Sub-Chapter members to plan a successful end-of-the-year fundraising event for Children’s Health Foundation.
- Independently plan/execute their own fundraising event and/or advocacy campaign in Oxford County. This must be completed prior to the end of the term unless arrangements are made with the CHF staff lead.
- Respect all fellow committee members, CHF staff, donors, and other volunteers.
- Committee members should regularly check the Oxford County Facebook Group for updates.
- Members must notify the staff co-leads and the secretary 24 hours in advance to inform them if they are unable to attend a meeting or other commitment.
- Help recruit new committee members.
