Volunteer Job Description

Join our team at VON Oxford! We’re currently looking for a volunteer for our Fund Development team - this role will assist Fund Development with data entry, general administrative duties, communications and event support.

PROGRAM/SERVICE RESPONSIBILITIES:

Fund Development Assistant:

Data input
Event support
General admin tasks (photocopies, filing, packages)
Communications support
Other duties as requested by the Coordinator

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Fulfill time commitment as agreed
Arrange schedule of volunteer activities with VON staff member
Contact appropriate person(s) as soon as possible if unable to make a scheduled assignment
Work within parameters of your position description
Provide services as requested and mutually agreed with VON staff member
Work towards fulfillment of program/department goals
Communicate concerns, comments or suggestions to the coordinator when appropriate regarding client’s condition/situation
Submit reports and keep accurate records as applicable
Participate in on-going review of service delivery processes and evaluation
Adhere to VON Canada policies
