Volunteer Job Description
Join our team at VON Oxford! We’re currently looking for a volunteer for our Fund Development team - this role will assist Fund Development with data entry, general administrative duties, communications and event support.

PROGRAM/SERVICE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Fund Development Assistant:
- Data input
- Event support
- General admin tasks (photocopies, filing, packages)
- Communications support
- Other duties as requested by the Coordinator
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Fulfill time commitment as agreed
- Arrange schedule of volunteer activities with VON staff member
- Contact appropriate person(s) as soon as possible if unable to make a scheduled assignment
- Work within parameters of your position description
- Provide services as requested and mutually agreed with VON staff member
- Work towards fulfillment of program/department goals
- Communicate concerns, comments or suggestions to the coordinator when appropriate regarding client’s condition/situation
- Submit reports and keep accurate records as applicable
- Participate in on-going review of service delivery processes and evaluation
- Adhere to VON Canada policies
