Job Description

4 Month Winter Co-op Staff Accounting Position 

 

We are looking for a Staff Accountant to join our team! You will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial records for our company.
Responsibilities:

  1. Preparation of T1 ( Personal Taxes)
  2. Prepare and examine accounting records, financial statements, taxes, and other financial reports
  3. Perform bookkeeping for various clients including payroll processing, GST/HST filing etc.
  4. Support assurance related assignment such as audits and reviews, ensuring adherence to standard requirements
  5. Create new processes to improve financial efficiency
  6. Report analysis and findings to management team

Qualifications:

  1. Previous experience in accounting or other related fields
  2. Previous experience of preparing T1, T2 and related schedules
  3. Knowledge of QBO, Sage, Profile software is an advantage
  4. Operational experience of MS-Office
  5. Detail and deadline-oriented
  6. Strong analytical and problem solving skills

Other Requirements



Working for growing CPA practice. Possibility of converting the position as long term permanent roll.

We are looking for Staff accountants from Jan to April.
