Bet­ter Jobs Ontario pro­vides finan­cial sup­port to help indi­vid­u­als gain the skills and train­ing need­ed to secure in-demand jobs. This pro­gram is designed for unem­ployed or under­em­ployed indi­vid­u­als look­ing to make a career change or improve their prospects in today’s com­pet­i­tive job mar­ket.
 

  • Eli­gi­bil­i­ty: Avail­able to those who are unem­ployed, under­em­ployed, or laid off and meet spe­cif­ic pro­gram criteria.
  • Fund­ing: Cov­ers costs for tuition, text­books, trans­porta­tion, child­care, and oth­er expens­es relat­ed to eli­gi­ble train­ing programs.
  • Train­ing Options: Focus­es on short-term train­ing pro­gram that lead to in-demand jobs in local industries.
  • Sup­port: Includes access to career coun­selling and guid­ance to help par­tic­i­pants choose the right train­ing for their goals.
