Job Description

Good Beginnings offers co-op opportunity mainly in administrative roles; specifically in the finance department.  Seeking those who may be doing a post-grad in office administration, accounting etc. and who may be looking for employment right after the co-op is completed. 

Job Responsibilities

  • Monthly Billing of Child Care attendances
  • Data entry and financial auditing for Canada Wide Early Learning Child Care program (CWELCC)
  • Communicating with families regarding past due accounts and payment plans
  • Strong administration and Excel experience is required

This position is available to post-secondary students or graduates (from qualified College or University programs). 

Please note we do NOT accept high school students. 

 

 

Other Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a combination of relevant education and experience.
  • A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in an administrative or accounting role, with emphasis on accounts receivable, accounts payable, financial reporting etc.
  • Exceptional computer skills, especially proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications.
  • Intermediate to Advanced skills in Excel are particularly required.
