About

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Oxford County (BBBS Oxford) empowers young people to realize their full potential through the power of mentoring. We create and support one-to-one and group mentoring relationships that ignite the unique power and potential of youth in Oxford County.

Our programs provide children and youth with caring role models who offer guidance, friendship, and encouragement. Whether meeting in schools, out in the community, virtually, or through specialized programs like PRISM (for 2S/LGBTQIA+ youth) and SOAR (for youth on our waitlist), mentors help young people build confidence, develop life skills, and feel connected to their community.

With thorough training and ongoing support from our staff, volunteers can make a lasting difference in the life of a young person—while having fun and discovering the rewards of mentorship.
