Job Description

Blythe Brae Farms is a family grain farm located near Woodstock. We are seeking a permanent in-person office assistant to join our team beginning July 2026.

 

The office assistant will perform data entry accurately and efficiently and maintain the office workflow and recordkeeping systems. Duties will include entry of grain tickets and settlements, accounts payable and accounts receivable, bank reconciliation and remittances.

Experience Required

  • Reliable transportation to our rural location
  • Detail oriented
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Basic accounting knowledge
  • Proficiency with computers and office software
  • Able to work independently and able to manage time well with shifting priorities
  • General familiarity with grain farming would be an asset

Compensation and Benefits

From $45,000 per year. Health spending account. Vacation and public holiday pay.
