Qualifications:
• License with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario
• Ability to work with other multi-disciplinary team professionals
• Excellent assessment and treatment skills in neurology, orthopaedics and geriatrics
• Food Handler certification required
• MOCA Certification preferred
• ADP authorizer an asset
• Accurate recording and reporting skills
• Excellent team player with superior communication skills
• Innovative and enthusiastic
• Ability to motivate, be sympathetic, yet positive and client-centered in all interactions with patients.
• Have a thorough understanding of confidentiality and patient dignity
• Demonstrate self-directed carry-through of patient care activities
• Initiative, good problem solving and communication skills are necessary
• Good understanding of safety; individual and patient-related
• Satisfactory attendance
• Commitment to Service Excellence
• Must provide proof of COVID vaccination ( 2 or more doses)
