Job Description

Opening July 1, 2000, the Innerkip Highlands Clubhouse is a marvelous structure of western Douglas Fir and glass. The architecture of the building is very modern and specifically designed to see the beauty of the golf course with minimal obstructions. Innerkip Highlands operates seven days per week during the golf season. Restaurant hours are Monday - Friday 11:00 am to 9:00 pm, and Weekends from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm from April through October. Please be aware that applicants will be expected to be available for a variety of shifts throughout the season.

Responsibilities of Line Cook

  • Ensure compliance with Health Board and other jurisdictional requirements regarding food handling, preparation, and sanitation.
  • Prepare ingredients, then cook and assemble dishes as indicated by recipes
  • Perform portion control and minimize waste to keep cost within forecasted range
  • Ensure that all dishes are prepared in a timely manner by restocking ingredients at work station and meeting prep times to ensure smooth delivery
  • Set up and clean station according to restaurant protocol
  • Maintain a clean work station area, including kitchen equipment, tables, and shelves
  • Ensure quality and freshness of ingredients and products
  • Coordinates with other staff members on disposal of garbage or recycling generated in the kitchen.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by the manager
