Job Description

You have the skills to assist people with barriers to employment to seek and maintain employment through a process of skill development, decision-making and job search.
You are a team player.
You are open minded, accepting of others’ differences.
You are creative in ways of introducing a variety of techniques to on-site job training and community experiences.
You can work professionally, interact well with others and are tolerant of others who may be intolerant of you.
You have excellent listening skills.
You have excellent communication and accurate writing skills.
You have proven ability through experience in job development and on the job coaching.
You use counselling techniques to promote a positive, pro-active work environment, which seeks to build self –esteem and confidence, etc.
You are currently enrolled in a post-secondary degree/diploma in a social service field or employment/business field.
You have further education and training related to employment.
You have current First Aid, CPR and NVCI
You have a valid Ontario driver’s license and a reliable car to use for work.
