Job Description

Position Information:

Mandatory Qualifications

-Ontario Secondary School Graduation Diploma or equivalent is required.
-Medical Terminology college course
-Knowledge of Cerner patient booking/registration system
-Knowledge of systemic chemotherapy regimens
-Knowledge of Cerner chemotherapy scheduling system (Powerchart Oncology)
- 2 years experience in hospital or ambulatory clinic ward clerk setting
-Proficient computer skills especially Microsoft Word and Excel

-Knowledge of Personal Health Information Protection Act
-Strong organizational skills
-Excellent interpersonal skill.
-Ability to work independently and in a team
-Ability to multitask
-Knowledge of, and ability to apply CQI concepts
-Commitment to future changes in unit philosophies and ongoing continuing education
-Commitment to patient centred-care, patient safety and service
excellence
-Must have and provide proof of full COVID-19 immunization
(2 or more doses).
