Job Description


Woodingford Lodge is an exceptional place to live and work, and we are currently recruiting for team members who want a rewarding career and to make a difference in their community and in the lives of others. We are a Long Term Care Home that is municipally owned and operated by Oxford County. We have three locations in Southwest Ontario, and are well known in the community for our dedicated team providing compassionate and respectful resident-centered care.


· Shift premiums (for afternoons, nights, and weekends) + scheduled wage progression

· Paid breaks including lunch during an 8 hour shift

· Unlimited shift switches

· Schedule provided 6 weeks in advance through electronic scheduling software

· Confidential Employee and Family Assistance Program

· Uniform allowance of $200/year

· Majority of shifts are 8 hours

· Course and tuition reimbursement

· Innovative home with new programs and a focus on BSO

· Opportunity to participate in or transfer pension plans from OMERS and HOOPP. OMERS is a defined pension plan that is comparable to HOOPP.


Cleans bedrooms, bathrooms, hallways, and social service areas on a routine basis, using a variety of cleaning methods and equipment; sorts, washes, dries, irons, presses and identifies all linen and resident clothing; porters residents to the dining room for their meals; assists residents at meal time, inclusive of feeding.


· Grade 10 education

· Ability to understand both written and oral instructions.

· Good communication and interpersonal skills.

· Able to work as part of a team.

  • Valid Ontario driver’s licence and a reliable vehicle with insurance.
  • Able to travel to all 3 locations
