Job Description
A&W is seeking an individual who would be cross trained in line cook and counter to work the overnight 24hr Drive Thru shift . This successful candidate will be responsible for providing hot food served fast while keeping a clean and sanitized work area. We are looking for someone that takes pride in the presentation and quality of the food they serve to keep our guests coming back for more!
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Preparing menu items to A&W recipes
- Ensure that the kitchen, all food prep areas and all food storage areas meet restaurant cleaning requirements
- Ensure that there is enough prep for the following day
- Monitor product freshness and rotate stock (first in, first out)
- Follow all food safety standards
- Operating touch screen registers along with the drive thru system
- Deep cleaning jobs
REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to work on your feet for long periods of time
- Comfortable working with a team in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Excellent verbal communication and organizational skills
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Must be team oriented
- Must be at least 15 years old to work in the kitchen
- Full online and hands on training provided
- Must be self motivated and reliable
- Strong organizational skills
