Qualifications
-Previous institutional experience in food preparation/service an asset
-Food Handlers Course mandatory (must be completed within 30 days of offer)
-Ontario Secondary School Graduation Diploma or equivalent is required
-Able to perform activities related to patient service and food production
-Able to perform some housekeeping functions, such as cleaning equipment, moving carts, lifting and bending
-Team player with good “customer service”, communication skills and reading skills
-Ability to work independently
-Satisfactory performance appraisals in present position if internal
-Safety conscious and able to stand and walk for up to an 8-hour period
-Commitment to Patient Care & Safety and Service Excellence
-Satisfactory vulnerable person’s sector criminal background check
-Must have and provide proof of full COVID-19 immunization (2 or more doses)
