Qualifications

 

• Successful completion of a recognized program with a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Kinetics/Honours Kinesiology.
• Registration with the College of Kinesiologists of Ontario
• Proven experience as a member of an interprofessional team involved in rehabilitation of clients with injuries.
• Ability to communicate effectively in a professional manner with members of an interdisciplinary team.
• Excellent and accurate interview, recording and reporting skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Respectful of patient confidentiality and dignity.
• Previous Health Care Experience an asset.
• Familiarity with WSIB and MVA assessment, treatment, and documentation an asset
• Experience with treatment clients following mTBI preferred.
• Commitment to Patient Care & Safety and Service Excellence.
• Satisfactory vulnerable person’s sector criminal background check.
• Must have and provide proof of full COVID-19 immunization (2 or more doses)
