Job Description
Charles Dickens Pub in Woodstock is currently seeking an energetic, eager and ambitious experienced Kitchen Manager to join their team. Must have at least 5-10 years of experience but Employer willing to look at all appplications within reason.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Will manage inventory for food and beverage items to ensure the kitchen is adequately stocked
Will hire, train, and discipline kitchen staff such as line cooks, bussers, and barbacks
Will seek ways to improve kitchen processes and ensure prompt service
Will create a schedule for kitchen staff to know their shifts
Will work with chefs to ensure that the menu is correct and up-to-date
Will set standards for kitchen cleanliness and ensuring cleaning is done regularly
Will track kitchen waste and look for improvements for financial return Will price menu items in collaboration with the Restaurant Manager.
Will order food supplies and kitchen equipment, as needed.
