Job Description

Accounting Administrator
The Arntjen Group was founded 1978 in Germany. Arntjen Clean Energy Solutions (ACES), a leading provider of solar energy solutions and Electric Vehicle Chargers throughout Canada, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Accounting Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for all accounting duties using Sage Business Vision as our accounting software. Immediate Opening - Full time
This position will report directly to senior management and be responsible for accounting of our business units. Our North-American head office is located in Woodstock Ontario.   
Responsibilities: 
• Manage all aspects of accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Month-end closing process including journal entry preparation, general ledger account reconciliation including credit Cards, reports and analysis
• Organize weekly cash flow summary, including Bank deposits for receipts and cheque disbursements
• Assist with budget preparation and forecasting
• Prepare monthly & quarterly regulatory filings and Government remittances 
• Calculate payroll and submit deductions & remittances
• Distribute Shareholder Dividends and payouts
• Ensure accurate reconciliations of related company balances
• Collaborate with internal teams to streamline accounting processes
• Transfer year-end reports to external accountant for review, including T4s and T5s
 

Education

Secondary School Diploma

Experience Required

Qualifications:
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant accounting experience
• Proficiency in Sage Business Vision or equivalent accounting software 
• Detail oriented with ability to prioritize and manage their time efficiently
• Skilled in Win11 / Microsoft Office environment and ability to learn new software quickly
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience with budget preparation, forecasting and meeting submission deadlines
• High level of enthusiasm and energy
• Strong organizational ability
• Language: English required, French and German an asset
