Job Description

Location: Harley, ON

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Premix Sales Manager to lead and grow our sales team for premix bagged products. This role is responsible for driving revenue growth, developing strong customer relationships, and executing effective sales strategies in the construction and building materials industry. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales management, preferably in the building materials or a related industry, and a strong ability to lead, motivate, and deliver results.

THE DAY TO DAY

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets for premix packaged products.
  • Identify new business opportunities and market trends to drive growth in the construction and building materials sector.
  • Prepare detailed sales forecasts and monitor performance against targets.
  • Recruit, train, and manage a team of sales representatives, providing ongoing coaching and mentorship.
  • Set clear performance objectives and conduct regular performance evaluations.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performing sales team culture.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, contractors, and construction companies.
  • Resolve customer inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements to maximize profitability.
  • Conduct market research to understand customer needs, competitor activities, and industry trends.
  • Provide regular sales reports, insights, and recommendations to senior management.
  • Collaborate with other departments within the organization on a regular basis.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education

Secondary School Diploma

Experience Required

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Must be able to work in a self-managed team.
  •  5+ years of sales experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
  • Industry experience in concrete, construction, or building materials is strongly preferred.
  • Experience working with the LBM industry and buying groups is an asset.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and develop actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite.
