REPORTING TO: Director of Long Term Care
WAGE RANGE: $62.84 - $78.55 per hour ($114,368.80 - $142,961.00 annually)

MAIN DUTIES:
Manages the effective and efficient day-to-day operation of Woodingford Lodge satellite locations in accordance with appropriate legislation, regulations and municipal policies. Acts as Administrator and Director of Care under the Long Term Care Homes Act. Supports the development, implementation and monitoring of strategic plans and departmental programs for the home.
Education
Experience Required
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Post-secondary education in Nursing, with current registration in good standing with the Ontario College of Nurses.
- A Nursing Unit Administration Course, and/or Certificate in Long-Term Care, Organization and Management that consists of a minimum duration of 100 hours instruction time as per the Long Term Care Homes Act are required. Successful completion of RAI training, or a diploma or certificate course in gerontology is an asset.
- Demonstrated progressive nursing experience and relevant experience managing resources, operations and service delivery in a long term care health setting.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, statutes and regulations related to long term Care homes and program specific operations including occupational health and safety.
- Ability to demonstrate the required competencies for this position in alignment with Oxford County’s competency framework.
- Demonstrated ability to identify and collaborate with internal and external partners to deliver programs, services, and outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability to foster teamwork, lead and empower teams and guide effective project management outcomes.
- Ability to develop and articulate a vision and to inspire and operationalize its achievement.
- Valid Ontario driver’s license and a vehicle with insurance is required.
