The Tillsonburg Alliance Church is seeking a full-time, permanent Lead Pastor to provide spiritual and executive leadership to our church in collaboration with the Leadership Board. The successful candidate must have a strong, intimate relationship with Jesus Christ, be a teacher who strongly adheres to God’s word, possesses strong interpersonal relational skills, values unity, has a passion for global and local missions, and has demonstrated the ability to provide visionary leadership.
The ideal candidate is someone who:
- is an effective and compelling communicator of God`s Word, able to accurately communicate the truths of the Bible in such a way that people understand;
- oversees the planning and preparation for the weekly service(s) as well as key ministries;
- is relational, approachable, and friendly and who values serving others;
- is able to equip and empower the congregation to effectively live out the gospel;
- is a collaborative team player with a servant heart;
- values unity in Christ as evidenced by an ability to lead the church through times of growth as well as challenges associated with today’s world and in a manner that reflects God’s desire for his church;
- has good organizational and administrative skills along with an ability to develop healthy staff and volunteer teams to achieve ministry goals;
- believes in the effectiveness of strategic planning and is able to develop and implement action oriented plans for new outreach opportunities, excess church property, etc.
- values intergenerational ministries and outreaches
In addition to the Lead Pastor, TAC currently has an Associate Pastor of Discipleship and Development and an Administrative Assistant on staff.
Performance Measurement
The successful Lead Pastor will be evaluated on a regular basis with performance measurement outcomes being considered along with other criteria as identified by the Leadership Board.
