About this Opportunity
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Human Resources Coordinator to support our HR department. This full-time, hybrid position plays a vital role in supporting the Human Resources department by assisting with various HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and compliance.
This position is responsible for maintaining accurate employee records, coordinating training programs, and will also assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and legal requirements.

- Hours of Work:
- Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm
- Required to work in office a minimum of 2 days per week
- May be required to work outside of regular business hours from time to time
Primary Responsibilities:
- Coordinate recruitment related activities, including developing job descriptions, creating job advertisements, selecting candidates, facilitating interviews, conducting background checks and managing onboarding
- Assist in the development and revision of Company policies and procedures, providing recommendations to enhance Execulink’s processes and improve the Employee Handbook
- Prepare and deliver training sessions when necessary, and assist with training program administration, including tracking and scheduling mandatory sessions to ensure compliance
- Provide general HR support to the team and all Execulink employees
- Create and standardize documents and templates within the HR department
- Assist with organizational research, succession planning and compliance initiatives
- Create and distribute timely reports for the HR Team and Leadership team
- Complete all other duties as assigned
Education
Experience Required

Required Skills & Abilities:
- Post-secondary education in a Human Resources-related program or equivalent work experience
- A minimum of 1+ years in a similar HR role
- Valid Class G Driver’s License and access to reliable transportation
- Familiarity with employment standards and health & safety regulations; knowledge of the Canada Labour Code is an asset
- Experience with Ceridian Dayforce is an asset
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interpret and effectively communicate company policies and procedures
- Highly developed teamwork and organizational skills, with a strong work ethic and positive, team-oriented attitude
- Well-organized and professional, capable of maintaining confidentiality and exercising good judgement in handling sensitive information
- Solid understanding of the Canada Labour Code, or willingness to learn
- The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
- Skilled in prioritizing and managing conflicting demands effectively while maintaining positive interactions with all levels of staff
- Excellent time management skills with strong attention to detail
- Effective problem identification and resolution skills
- Motivated self-starter with demonstrated initiative
