About this Opportunity
We are looking for a creative and motivated Marketing Coordinator to join our team! In this hybrid role, you will collaborate with experienced staff to develop innovative marketing initiatives and support daily team activities.
Key responsibilities include organizing events and tradeshows, writing and creating content, creating marketing materials, and working closely with the sales team to manage and coordinate customer sales campaigns. Strong project management and organizational abilities are essential, along with experience in social media engagement, web production, and CRM platforms.

Position Details

- Hours of Work:
- Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm
- Will be required to work outside of regular business hours from time to time
Primary Responsibilities:
Online/Website
- Develop, implement and manage social media profiles and engage with web audiences to generate buzz, build company reputation and generate leads
- Identify existing and emerging trends in social media and offer appropriate recommendations for how to capitalize on or respond to the trends
Writing & Research
- Write newsletters, blogs, design surveys and other customer/internal communications
- Write and co-ordinate approvals for media releases and collaborate with the marketing team for PR/media program development and tracking
- Develop print and electronic sales and marketing materials including testimonials/case studies, brochures, product sheets, presentations, advertisements and direct mail
Project Planning
- Organize and coordinate events and tradeshows from planning to execution. Including sourcing speakers, developing invitations, publicity, advertising, media releases, booklets and other promotions
Overall Team Contribution
- Provide input in the development of our communication plans, strategies and reports
- Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time
Education
Experience Required
Required Skills & Abilities:
- Post-secondary degree in Marketing and Communications or related field and/or proven experience
- Superior research, writing, editing and communication skills, including a keen attention to detail and experience in creating SEO content
- Demonstrated connectivity and engagement with the social media world including knowledge and understanding of social media platforms, technology, and their respective participants (Facebook, Youtube, Twitter, LinkedIn etc.) and how they can be deployed in different scenarios
- Experience with web production, including SEO and CMS
- Demonstrated understanding of what goes into all aspects of successful marketing of a website e.g. SEO, web analytics
- Working knowledge of print production and other advertising media’s with the proven ability to work closely and build relationships with both vendors and contra partners
- Experience using a CRM (Customer Relationship Management) platform
- Graphic design, HTML and/or photography experience is considered an asset
- Valid Class G License and access to reliable transportation
- Execulink requires successful candidates to complete a clear drivers abstract
- Strong project management, planning and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills demonstrated both externally with customers as well as coordinating with other departments internally
- Graphic design, HTML and/or photography experience is considered an asset
- Knowledge of telecommunications (internet, cable and telephony) products and services is considered an asset
- Be responsible for generating and assist in managing the content for the Execulink Telecom website, including the development of specialized web pages for targeted events or marketing campaigns
- Work with the team to help improve overall quality and user experience of our website
- Undertake research to support marketing programs and activities
- Assist in the management of Execulink’s advertising, partnership and sponsorship program
- Contract with printers and other media vendors to deliver marketing and communications projects on time and on budget
- Ensure that Execulink Telecom’s branding standards, messaging and style are consistent in all print and online communications
