Operate machinery for bottle filling, powder filling, tableting or other machines according to training. Ensure machines are in proper working order before use or implement lock out tag out. Fill out paperwork as required, set up tear done clean and sanitize machine components.
Setup and tear down machine, clean and sanitize
Set up program and check count on machine
Set up screens for proper weight and perimeters
Filling machine, check weights are correct and with limits
Do in process checks complete paperwork
Line up pouches and check seal on pouching machine
Do in process checks
Count, bag or box
Maintain a clean, organized work area
Adhere to safety polices, GMP and SOP’s
Accurately and timely compete all paperwork
Communicate with the Production Supervisor to review the scheduled production and set priorities.
Adhere to Good Documentation Practices and record keeping
Corrective and preventative action implementation
Making recommendations to improve efficiencies and productivity
May be required to assist in other production duties
Responsible to meet production deadlines
Continually improve the overall effectiveness of the production department through improvements
May be required to train others.
Education
Experience Required
- 1-3 years production manufacturing experience Machine operator
- Organization- must possess the ability to organize and manage the implementation of multiple machinery
- Deliver Results- Reliable, consistent and self -motivated
- Solid understanding of equipment, manufacturing processes, maintenance and quality standards
- Knowledge of the GMPs relative to NNHPD an asset
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Must be able to work independently and team member
- Must stand for long periods of time lift max 25kgs
- Attention to detail
- Repetitive motion, good manual dexterity skills, speed, and co-ordination.
- Mechanical reasoning ability, knowledge of machinery, problem solving skill
- Knowledge of materials and processes.
- Ability to operate equipment, including pump carts.
