LOCATION: Human Services
EMPLOYMENT STATUS: Permanent Full-Time
REPORTING TO: Manager of Family and Children Services
UNION AFFILIATION: Non-Union
POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for planning, organizing and implementing Child and Family initiatives for the County of Oxford. Develops and implements community-based partnerships across sectors to deliver programs specific to families and children.
Education
Experience Required
Minimum Qualifications:
- Post-secondary education in Child Studies, Early Childhood Education, Social Services or related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience planning, organizing and implementing Ministry-funded child and family programs.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- In-depth knowledge of relevant legislation, statutes and regulations related to early childhood education and occupational health and safety.
- Ability to demonstrate the required competencies for this position in alignment with Oxford County’s competency framework.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with internal and external partners to deliver programs, services and outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability to foster teamwork, lead and empower teams and guide effective project management outcomes.
