Job Description
Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Data Entry Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong computer skills and a solid background in administrative tasks. This role is crucial for maintaining accurate data records and supporting various departments within the organization. The Data Entry Clerk will be responsible for inputting, updating, and managing data across multiple databases while ensuring data integrity and confidentiality. The office has a separate entrance to a private residence with animals on site.
Duties
- Input and update data accurately into various databases.
- Perform data collection and ensure all information is current and correct.
- Conduct regular audits of data entries to maintain accuracy.
- Organize and file documents systematically for easy retrieval.
- Assist with clerical tasks such as typing, filing, and maintaining office supplies.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline data entry processes.
- This clerk may also interpret or extract data from maps—perhaps for logistics, GIS, or planning
- Reviewing or checking data from groomers
- Utilize Microsoft Excel to manage spreadsheets and generate reports as needed.
Education
Experience Required
- Previous office experience is preferred, with a focus on administrative tasks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with databases is essential.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent typing skills with a high level of accuracy in data entry.
- Strong computer skills, including familiarity with various software applications.
- Prior clerical experience is beneficial, particularly in data management or filing systems.
