You’ll mentor a motivated sales team, negotiate impactful contracts, and build strong, lasting relationships with clients. Experience Required

Responsibilities:

  • Determine strategic planning related to attainment of sales targets and acquisition of new clients
  • Lead sales team in building relationships with new and existing business clients
  • Manage negotiations of sales contracts and RFP proposals
  • Maintains sales staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training and managing employees
  • Maintains sales results by coaching and developing employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results
  • Establish organizational policies and procedures in relation to sales
  • Develop (with Vice President of Sales & Marketing) a balanced set of metrics and targets that will be used to monitor effectiveness
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies
  • Complete all other duties as assigned

HR Responsibilities:

  • Hiring, Onboarding, Training, Termination
  • Timesheet Approval – including approval of all requested vacation
  • Quarterly Performance Reviews
  • Employee Performance Improvement Plan (EPIP) administration
  • Regular one-to-one meetings with individual staff

Qualifications:

  • Business degree or related professional qualification
  • Proven experience in B2B sales and sales management
  • Strong understanding of sales strategies, pipeline management and CRM tools
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, coach and motivate a sales team to achieve targets
  • Excellent negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in developing and executing sales plans and forecasting
  • Ability to analyze market trends and customer needs to identify new opportunities
  • Relevant product and industry knowledge
  • Valid Driver’s License and access to reliable transportation

  • Information Management: Capable of efficiently organizing, maintaining, and retrieving relevant data and documentation
  • Team Leadership: Proven ability to lead, motivate, and guide teams toward achieving goals while fostering collaboration and accountability
  • Formal Presentation Skills: Comfortable delivering professional presentations to various audiences, including executives and stakeholders
  • Negotiation Skills: Demonstrated ability to reach beneficial agreements and resolve conflicts through strategic communication and compromise
  • Decision-Making: Confident in making timely, data-driven decisions that support organizational objectives
  • High Stress Tolerance: Able to maintain performance and professionalism under pressure and in fast-paced environments
