Job Description

Job Summary:
The Customer Service Representative role is essential in providing top-tier support for all Salford products and assisting customers with their needs. This role requires passion for helping people, strong technical aptitude, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. 

Responsibility:

  • Provide comprehensive support for all Salford products, including answering customer inquiries and troubleshooting issues. 
  • Recommend parts and equipment based on customer needs and technical specifications. 
  • Communicate professionally with customers via phone and email, ensuring all inquiries are addressed promptly. 
  • Offer estimates for spare parts and whole goods and assist customers with order placement. 
  • Accurately review and enter customer orders for spare parts and whole goods. 
  • Resolve customer concerns, complaints, and disputes in a courteous and efficient manner.  
  • Provide timely updates and information on the status of customer orders 
  • Maintain detailed documentation for all customer orders and interactions. 
  • Enter and manage the call queue when working at your desk. 
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve customer-related issues. 
  • Be available to work a flexible schedule to accommodate peak times, seasonal demands, and statutory holidays. 
  • Accomplish other tasks and serve as backup when needed 

Education

Post Secondary Degree

Experience Required

Academic/Educational Requirements:

  • Diploma or degree in related field, or equivalent experience 

 Required Skills/Experience:

  • A minimum of three years of experience in a customer service role 

  • Knowledge of agricultural equipment and/or the commercial agriculture industry an asset. 

  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel 

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills. 

  • Excellent organizational, time management skills. 

  • Ability to work independently and as a team member in a fast-paced environment. 

  • Strong technical aptitude 

  • Experience with large ERP systems an asset 

  • Strong desire to help people
