Job Description

G&L Printing Services is a proud Canadian, full-service screen printing, embroidery,
print-on-demand, and 3PL fulfillment company. We serve manufacturers, wholesalers, branded
merchandise distributors, retailers, and growing brands across Canada and the U.S. With all
production done in-house, our focus is on reliability, personal service, and scalable fulfillment
solutions.
As our business continues to scale, we are investing in strategic operational leadership to
strengthen systems, elevate efficiency, and empower our growing team.
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Manager of Operations to oversee the day-to-day operations
of our production, fulfillment, and administrative workflows. This role sits on our management
team and will work alongside ownership to refine operational systems, support financial
oversight, and ensure consistent execution as we scale.
The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of operational leadership experience, with at least 2
years in 3PL fulfillment, print production, screen printing, or apparel decorating
environments, and is confident leading people, refining processes, and driving KPI-based
performance.
Experience with the EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) framework is a
key asset, as we actively adopt EOS for structure, accountability, and strategic
alignment.
What You’ll Do
● Lead, support, and empower production and fulfillment teams through coaching,
mentoring, and collaborative leadership.
● Manage day-to-day workflows, production scheduling, order prioritization, quality control,
and capacity planning.
● Optimize operational systems to increase consistency, reduce bottlenecks, and improve
turnaround times.
● Develop, formalize, and implement operational policies, procedures, SOPs, and
documentation that ensure clarity, alignment, and scale-ready processes.
● Document business systems, internal workflows, and repeatable processes to support
training, automation, and operational maturity as the business grows.
● Oversee safety protocols, production standards, internal communication systems, and
performance reporting.
● Support financial oversight — including forecasting, production costing, resource
allocation, and inventory controls.
● Leverage technology, automation tools, AI, and digital dashboards to streamline
communication, reporting, training, forecasting, and fulfillment efficiency.
● Work in close partnership with the Manager of Growth & Business Integration to
align operational systems, fulfillment workflows, WMS implementations, and EOS-driven
process improvements.
● Oversee staffing needs, onboarding, cross-training, and culture-focused leadership.
● Monitor and resolve production or fulfillment issues with proactive, solutions-first decision
making.
Who You Are
● A proven operations leader with 3–5 years in a management role
● Have minimum 2 years experience in 3PL, apparel decorating, print production, or
screen printing
● Tech-savvy and highly comfortable using a variety of platforms, dashboards, and
AI-driven tools
● Skilled at implementing technology to improve efficiency — from scheduling and
workflow planning to fulfillment coordination and communication
● Familiar with EOS tools, scorecards, accountability charts, L10 meetings, or
structured performance management
● Adept at building scalable operational systems, documenting SOPs, and
implementing structured processes
● A collaborative leader and mentor who empowers staff and builds strong operational
culture
● Calm, structured, analytical, and dependable in fast-paced environments
● Strong communicator capable of working cross-functionally and in strategic alignment
with ownership and leadership
● Passionate about continuous improvement, automation, and data-informed decision
making that supports sustainable growth
Why Join Us
● Become a key operational leader in a rapidly scaling Canadian business
● Significant opportunity for career advancement as our systems, capacity, and service
offerings expand
● Work within an entrepreneurial culture where experience, curiosity, initiative, and
cultural fit matter
● Lead in a team-first environment where people are trusted, empowered, and supported
● Competitive salary: $60,000 – $70,000, commensurate with experience
● Direct collaboration with ownership and senior leadership, including our Manager of
Growth & Business Integration
● Shape and architect operational policies, business systems, automation strategies,
and AI adoption that prepare the business for scale
