We are currently hiring a Personal Relationship Manager to support our Woodstock and Simcoe branch. This position will require travel between the two branch locations. This job posting is for an existing vacancy.

The Personal Relationship Manager (PRM) is a key role within Libro Credit Union, responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of high-value members with complex financial needs. The PRM serves as a dedicated, single point of contact, providing comprehensive financial solutions across lending, day-to-day banking, and advisory services, and investments including Aviso wealth solutions.

This role requires a deep understanding of personal financial management, business development, and relationship management. The PRM proactively builds and deepens long-term member relationships, driving portfolio growth through exceptional service, tailored financial advice, and the consolidation of financial services.

The role also involves collaborating with internal specialists to address complex member needs, ensuring a seamless and integrated financial experience.

The Role

  • Manage a defined portfolio of high-value and high-potential members, acting as the primary point of contact for their financial needs.
  • Provide expert-level financial advice and solutions, including personal lending, home equity lines of credit, mortgages, day-to-day banking, and investment transactions.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to consolidate financial services, driving member loyalty and long-term value.
  • Deliver personalized, solutions-based financial advice tailored to meet the unique needs of high-value members engaging specialists when member needs require advanced expertise.
  • Consistently identify internal opportunities within the branch portfolio to grow investment, lending, and deposit balances.
  • Engage in targeted outbound business development efforts to attract new high-value members.
  • Maintain a clear understanding of Libro’s financial products and services, identifying cross-sell and up-sell opportunities to maximize member value.
  • Provide mutual fund investment advice directly to members within the portfolio, ensuring alignment with their financial goals referring complex planning needs to Financial Planners as appropriate.
  • Champion a consolidated financial services approach by integrating banking, lending, and investment solutions for high-value members.


 

Education

Bachelor Degree

Experience Required

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in business, finance, or a related field.

  • Mutual Funds license.

  • 3+ years of experience in personal banking, relationship management, lending, and financial advisory.

  • Experience in portfolio growth, business development, financial services consolidation and managing complex financial needs for high-value clients.

  • A passion for helping people grow their financial well-being.
